Clearing Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Learn how to clear your browser cache and cookies in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox on any device. Click one of the following:

• Google Chrome on your Computer  

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. In the top right corner of the browser, click the More icon  (three vertical dots ).

  3. In the drop-down menu, click Settings.

  4. Scroll down to the Privacy and security section, and click Clear browsing data.

  5. In the Clear browsing data pop-up, click the Clear data button.

• Google Chrome on Your Android Device  

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.

  2. To the right of the address bar, tap the More icon (three vertical dots ) and then select Settings.

  3. Tap the Privacy category and then select Clear browsing data.

  4. Select which cookies to delete by selecting a specific time range.

  5. After making your selection, check Cookies and site data, and uncheck all other items.

  6. Tap Clear data.

• Google Chrome on your iOS Device  

  1. On your device, launch the Chrome app.

  2. At the top right, tap More icon (three vertical dots ), scroll down and then select Settings.

  3. Under Settings, tap Privacy and then Clear browsing data.

  4. Select Cookies, site data, and uncheck all other items.

  5. Tap Clear browsing data, and then select Done.

• FireFox on Your Computer  

  1. Open Firefox on your computer.

  2. In the upper right-hand corner of the browser, click the More icon (three horizontal lines ),  and then click Options.

  3. In the left pane, click Privacy and Security.

  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data, and click the Clear Data button.

• FireFox on Your Android Device  

  1. Go to the Settings menu. 

  2. On the Settings menu, go to Privacy & security and select Clear private data. 

  3. From the list of available data to clear, select Cookies & active logins.

  4. After you have made your selection, tap the Clear data button.

• FireFox on Your iOS Device  

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. In the lower right-hand corner of the browser window, tap the More icon (three horizontal lines ),  and then select Settings.

  3. Scroll down to Privacy, and select Clear private data.

  4. Ensure only Cookies is selected, and then tap  Clear private data.

• Microsoft Edge on your Windows PC  

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. In the top right corner of the browser, click the More icon  (three horizontal dots )  and select Settings.

  3. Scroll to Clear browsing data, select Cookies and saved website data, and then select Clear.
